Alejandra is a Mexican soprano renowned for her expertise in the realms of opera, classical music, and concert performances. Her collaboration with distinguished orchestras in Mexico has solidified her reputation as a prominent figure in the realm of opera and vocal concerts, a trajectory she continues to pursue in the United States, her current place of residence.

Her achievements include clinching the esteemed First Prize at the XIII International Czech and Slovak Music Competition, hosted in Montreal, Canada. Moreover, she secured the top position at the XXIV National Singing Competition, notably recognized as the eminent "Carlo Morelli" event, which transpired at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City during August 2006. Further adding to her accolades, she claimed third place in the National Singing Competition "Opera de San Miguel" in June 2009.

In the month of July 2022, Alejandra marked her debut as the leading protagonist Gulnara at the esteemed Chicago Opera Festival, captivating audiences with her rendition of Giuseppe Verdi's opera Il Corsaro, thereby garnering commendation from discerning critics featured in prominent American and British publications, including Opera News. Subsequently, in October 2022, she contributed her talent to the inaugural performance of Gabriela Lena Frank's opera Frida and Diego's Last Dream in collaboration with the San Diego Opera, assuming the pivotal role of "La Catrina." Additionally, her debut in the role of Frasquita in Georges Bizet's Carmen with the Atlanta Opera in April 2021 further solidified her position in the industry.

Throughout her career, Alejandra has had the privilege of being conducted by renowned maestros such as Arthur Fagen, Toby Purser, Emanuele Andrizzi, and Enrique Batiz, among others, while showcasing her vocal prowess alongside diverse symphony orchestras and ensembles, both domestically and internationally. Notably, her performances with the Symphony Orchestra of the State of Mexico in various cities across China, alongside her appearances in distinguished concert venues within the country, have further solidified her global acclaim.

Beyond her performances, Alejandra has demonstrated her commitment to nurturing young talent through her involvement in teaching, conducting masterclasses, and adjudicating singing competitions, both in Mexico and the United States. Her current role as a Voice Instructor at Georgia State University in Atlanta speaks to her dedication to fostering the next generation of vocal artists. Concurrently, she is diligently pursuing her Doctorate in Vocal Performance at the University of Georgia.
